One of the best places we’ve stayed in our 6 months of travelling! - The location of the hotel is remote, but very tranquil and beautiful. We loved the silence and the mesmerizing landscape. - The rooms are spacious and very clean! We felt incredibly comfortable and also enjoyed the big outdoor bathroom. The shower pressure was excellent, which is quite rare in Asia, and the water was hot. - The pool is beautiful, with a good temperature, and is cleaned very often. - Lastly, the man who was the only staff member on the ground when we visited, was so kind and welcoming. He cooked amazing food for us and always met us with a smile. We really enjoyed your company! All in all, our stay was an unforgettable experience and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s considering. Thank you!

Fantastic place where I particularly particularly loved the terrace, the magnificent garden (so many species of plants, birds and animals!) and the breakfast. You will never find a better and more service minded host than Udika. Always smiling and singing. A truly happy place to stay. Walking distance to the centre ant to the Lion Rock, but not recommended walking about in the dark due to the wildlife.

Beautiful clean cool rooms in the jungle, hardly a need for the fan even because the trees and plants keep the rooms so cool. Lovely friendly and helpful family, delicious breakfasts and dinners if you choose to eat there. I highly recommend the home cooked rice and curry, it’s so tasty and the mum will cook it as spicy as you like (I like it spicy and it was so yummy compared to the bland ‘tourist curry’ they serve in a lot of the restaurants in Sri Lanka’) The son even showed me around the area, it really felt like home. Highly recommend!

The place is family run. Very honest couple, very helpful and likeable. The breakfast is great, not far from lion rock and the main restaurants in Sigirya. Also, if you need to take the 06.30am bus to Kandy, it is very handy as the bus stop is literally five minutes away on the main road. I would definitely return and it is a very good value for money.

The rooms are clean and equipped with both a fan and air condition. Bathroom is spacious and clean. But the reason you should go there is Anil and his family. They warmly welcomed is and helped to arrange all of the attractions at good price (and even supported when the salesman wanted to charge us more in the shop). Oh, and there is a very nice pool!

We recently visited Sigiri Lake Paradise. The host had ensured that a driver would pick us up from the airport as we arrived at 03:00 am. The drive itself took 2-2,5 hour and once we arrived we were served with tea and coffee, even though that the check-in time at the homestay, was at 11:00. We went up to the rock next to the house and saw this amazing sunrise. We are very grateful for the assistance we received from the owners. The breakfast was great and included both fresh fruits and local breakfast cuisines. Every night we ate dinner at the homestay, which we highly recommend. We were fortunate enough to help prepare a traditional Sri Lankan dinner, which also was a great experience. The family helped us getting to attractions such as Lion Rock and the Golden Cave temple. They were also a great help with regards to arranging a safari tour. Though it’s a bit far from the main road, we had no trouble walking the 2.5 km or getting transportation from the family. Overall, we were very happy at Sigiri Lake Paradise and wholeheartedly recommend it.

A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! Being so close to nature was incredibly refreshing. The design of the Boulder Houses is thoughtfully done—you genuinely feel like you’re sleeping within nature itself. So peaceful, so green, and so serene. The hosts were also exceptionally warm and welcoming, making the stay even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

Perfect location, perfect home, perfect family. We stayed here for three nights and could not have had a more perfect stay. We were made to feel so welcome from the first minute we arrived there! Spacious and clean room with great bathroom, with views from the roof out to Lion Rock. They arranged a scooter for us, helped us book an elephant safari and were fantastic with recommendations and directions for things to do in the day. The location is really nice and quiet but close enough to the Main Street, with wildlife all around. We also had breakfast made for us as well which was epic. The most beautiful family and the perfect stay.

The location is excellent—peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of everything. The property is new and surrounded by nature, with the soothing sounds of birds all around.
