Our stay was AMAZING. Even if it was a short stop, only one night, we were hosts like members of the family, with a welcoming juice made by our hosts that they are always available for everything you need. The apartment is comfy and clean, and the traditional sri lankian breakfast is simply yummy!! Thanks a lot for everything. This was a really lovely property in the forest, right next to all the temples and that. Stayed one night and enjoyed being there, real jungle experience with monkeys, frogs and ants everywhere. Don’t let that worry you though, it’s part of being in the jungle. The facilities make up for that.

Amazing location in the middle of the jungle. The morning bird chorus is the best I've heard in the world. A serene and very peaceful location - didn't hear a single vehicle noise during my 3 night stay. Erantha and Ishanka, the very friendly and helpful owners, provide excellent meals, focussing on organic local produce, often from the garden in the 'resort'. Lovely walk to the nearby lake, and close to the Wilpattu National Park main entrance (requires a vehicle, which the owners can organise). We were also given a delicious picnic hamper for our full day park safaris. Cannot wait to return.
