FranceLocated near the bus stop 62 if you don't have a car. Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems.
You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant.
It was super clean and super comfortable.

United Statesthe fresh local orange juice and desserts were such a treat. the cottages were cozy. the patio off the back was beautiful. the hosts were gracious. they left a lot of helpful information about the island which was very appreciated. the bento box service was also very nice.

ItalyThe house is big and clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything: microns, stove, crockery. The owner came to pick us up and take us to the airport. It is a bit far from the center (25 minutes on foot). Recommended

The owner, Yuko was very helpful and spoke very good English. Our chalet was cleaned, fresh towels given and rubbish cleared on daily basis. The outdoor bath and hammock feature exceptional sea views. Beds were extremely comfortable. The food was amongst the best we had in Japan, each meal was truly exceptional. The owners are kind and caring, and can offer excellent advice about sightseeing and hikes.
