The place exceeded our expectations, especially due to the owners. The couple "naturel et lumière" (that is actually how they call themselves 😊) is running this authentic and extremely cosy mountain refuge in a very positive and welcoming spirit. At our arrival, we were instantly warmly received in this remote, high altitude “gite” in beautiful snow topped surroundings, which made us feel happy and at home immediately. The owners knowledge of the area and its history is astounding and a source of inspiration and laughter! The room we had (“Ecrins”) was beautiful, clean, had mountain views and even a bathtub. Breakfast and food is served by the fire in the cosy common room and the bar is a great place to chat with the owners or other guests. Highly recommendable !

    This property is a spacious chalet in the midst of glorious countryside. The owner has made a magnificent job of building it. He has fitted it out with everything that is needed. We had a splendid two days there. I would fully recommend it.
