Very lovely family stay (meaning family living there as well and always helpful) almost in the jungle. The host Putra taking care of all areangements). You only get there by motorbike or on foot. Very quite (except some motorbikes from time to time). 500m to bat cave, where you can see on the way an orang-utan of you are lucky. To Landak river nice bathing spot only few minutes (water monitor swims away when you dip in...;-); monkeys can be seen around) They have 5 huts, each with simple bath, a fan and some chairs in front). Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be taken on nice wooden terrace. Maya and Fitrya are great cooks.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Sawah Resto Bungalow & Jungle Trekking features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Nino treated me and my partner like we were family. He organised the sunrise trek, our transfer and suggested places to eat and stop off when we explored berestagi on the moped. Can't say a bad word. The bed was comfy and the first hot shower in over a week which is always nice.
