Gorgeous residence in a calm beautiful place near the river. The caretaker Mr. Nalin and the rest of the staff were very kind to us and assisted us in everything we asked, including arrangements with transfers and tours around the island. The residence itself (including the pool with the area around it) was comfortable and big enough to fit 7 friends. Lots of books about local culture and nature are available for the guests, including birdwatching manuals (and even equipment). Last but not least, the food was delicious, including both western and local cuisine. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing decor and facilities inside a large country house. Very comfortable rooms, excellent service and delicious food made on site. Very friendly staff that go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and looked after. The pool is amazing and looks out onto the valley. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kandy, and is worth travelling to Kandy for!

Our stay at Namadi Heights Bungalow was so wonderful, we decided to extend our stay! The room is uniquely decorated with antiques and comfortable furniture, the bathroom and shower are modern (hot and cold and great water pressure), and the AC is new and works great. The room and bathroom windows look out onto the forest reserve. The hosts Nishi & Bhandula are fantastic, and made us feel right at home and welcome. There is fast wifi and local travel books in the room, and the hosts are very knowledgeable. During our stay we opted for the breakfast and dinner services and these went above and beyond! We had western and Sri Lankan food, both were delicious. We truly felt like we were at home, with a home cooked meal, and we felt treated like family. I will stay here everytime I come through Kandy. Also the view from the private balcony is gorgeous and has a porch swing!

The location of the bungalow was so beautiful and romantic. We were literally up in the mountains, and everywhere you look, its nature surroundings you. A little coxy home away from home. Very quiet place, almost feels like you’re in the woods. An easy 35 minute walk to town. The food is delicious. The pool. The room is very clean, spacious and practical. And the bathroom is perfect.

The place was the simplest definition of perfection it was really close to the centre of the town and all the facilities and grocery stores restaurants and even other main attractions were just within the 5 minute range the staff was extremely friendly they were happy to help us with whatever we needed. The check in was really smooth as well we had the perfect time highly recommended
