The room was clean, spacious, with a balcony overlooking the.green hills, perfect for chilling..There is hot water in the shower, which is really nice in not so hot evening temperatures. The owner was really helpful and kind, he helped me.organise few trips and recommended a reliable ruk tuk driver and offered advice on things to/see and how to do it. I cannot recommend it enough!

We had an incredible stay at Mount View Bungalow The service was outstanding, with the staff always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The Bungalow itself offered breathtaking views that made our stay even more memorable. Checking in is so easy. The Manager is very friendly and helpful. The manager made sure that the hotel took good care of our needs. We took dinner and breakfast and it was perfect. The hotel is very clean and spacious rooms. We will go back to the same hotel, if we visit Hatton again.

We stayed at Royal Majesty Bungalow one night as a way to break our train trip from Ella to Colombo. The 140 years old bungalow was an incredible piece of history in the green. The team made everything possible to make us feel at ease and we also got a very informative tour of the tea factory. Hatton is not a typical stop on the way to Colombo and you'll find very little tourism in the area.

The staff were exceptional. Especially, Dilshan, Kamalini, Kannan and Ravi, were very friendly and provided a personalised service. The location is ideal if you're looking to be amid green tea plantations and with zero disturbance. Complete serenity.

I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The view is gorgeous up there! The room with the balcony is amazing. It’s really clean and the man working there makes sure you have a comfortable stay. You shouldn’t mind walking a steep path for around 10min to get to the house.

Gorgeous historic bungalow. Surprisingly comfortable, with access to a large hotel complex. There was also a wonderful restaurant there to overlook the valley.

This homestay was impeccable. Everything about staying here was to a very high standard. The food was delicious and substantial. It was lovely to eat with other back packers and converse. The owner kindly dropped us off at the bus station as we changed our ninds about getting a train at the last minute incaae we could not get a seat. I would have happily stayed longer but we was on a tight itinerary.
