Bungalows in Cochin

Mr. Joseph is an excellent host who gives you useful tips about places of interest and takes care of your comfort. The Fort Bungalow is a very well maintained old Portuguese bungalow which is strategically located near all the important tourist attractions in the Fort Kochi area, one can easily access all the places on foot. The rooms have nice furniture with comfortable bed mattresses and there is a cosy corner on 2nd floor where one can relax and read books. Overall highly recommended.

Exceptional stay in a calm, clean and very well run hotel in a beautiful historic building. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We loved the pool. The staff, in particular the manager Mr Nair, went out of their way and were very kind and efficient in dealing with a favour we had to ask. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful old colonial building in perfect location, 1min walk from boat jetty. Rooms spacious and very clean. Washing line provided in court yard to hang any laundry out on. Manager (Alex) so friendly and welcoming, also speaks impeccable English. He gave us a room upgrade a no extra cost due to Booking.com error even though no fault of hotel or management . (see didn't like section) Given free 5litre bottle of water upon arrival. When leaving Alex had been to local bakery and bought us cakes as a farewell gift to see us on our travels (also gave us another 1ltr bottle of water) All in all a perfect hotel, manager and stay... Would definitely recommend 👍
