Incredible and unique place, but it may not be for everyone. The owners are very kind and helpful, the area and the huts are amazing. Due to the nature of the place (pun intended) it comes with some challenges (remote place, bugs, geckos entering your room, taking a short hike to get to the dining area, jungle noises at night...) but I couldn't list them as negative things since it's a part of the experience. Make sure you read the description carefully and especially the message sent by the place after booking to avoid surprises!

Staying at Carmen’s was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into her home. The place is beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, a lovely dock, and a lush garden perfect for relaxing. The facilities are excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the warmth and hospitality of Carmen and Marcel. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, always with such kindness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant—a perfect way to start the day. And in the evening, Carmen’s home-cooked dinners were a treat—she prepares the freshest fish of the day, and all the guests gather around the table to share a meal and great conversation. Carmen was incredibly helpful with everything, from tending to a blister on my foot to organizing day trips. This stay was more than just accommodation—it was a truly memorable experience. I can’t recommend it enough!

Pure Roots si trova a Bastimentos, a 800 metri da Playa de Carenero Noreste e 2,3 km da Playa de Carenero. Prevede la vista sul mare e il WiFi gratuito. We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Coral Wing Casitas si trova a Bastimentos e offre alloggi provvisti di balcone e WiFi gratuito. Location was fabulous. Lots of windows with gorgeous views of wayer. Breakfast delivered to the room. We used the free kayaks. Snorkeling in front of the cabin was great. JJ was a wonderful host.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, private beach area, and... Lodge incantevole immerso nella natura gestito dagli impeccabili Brian e Daniel. Sempre disponibili per ogni evenienza. Daniel cucina meravigliosamente bene! Consiglio assolutamente di cenare nel resort. Un grazie particolare a entrambi per tutto il supporto in loco! Il lodge gode di viste panoramiche incredibili e le camere sono perfette! Assolutamente consigliato!

Casita Azul si trova a Bastimentos. L’alloggio si trova a 700 metri da Playa de Carenero Noreste e offre il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura. The property is as described. Lots of storage space so you can unpack. Great kitchen. They are very attentive to your comfort. We had one of the air conditioners break down when it was determined that is could not be repaired they had it replaced right away. It is only really needed in the evening and night time for comfort and sleeping. During the day open the doors and windows and the breeze is great. A very comfortable home and a great place to unwind.

Posizionato a Bastimentos, Hostal Cay offre una terrazza, un bar e il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura. L’ostello è il più curato tra quelli visti qui a Panama. Abbiamo preso una camera con letto matrimoniale e bagno privato all’interno e dopo due giorni hanno pulito la nostra stanza e hanno cambiato le lenzuola e gli asciugamani, questo aspetto ci ha colpito positivamente! Super consigliato!

Akwaba Lodge si trova a The Gap e prevede WiFi gratuito, sala comune, terrazza e bar. In ogni alloggio troverete un bagno privato con doccia, set di cortesia e asciugacapelli. The place had a great location, it was very private and peaceful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Natalie for being a great host. The food amazing, I had most of my meals there and they were all fresh and delicious. I loved the free kayaks, SUP boards and snorkeling equipment. All transfers to and from the island were arranged by the host which was super helpful. Thank you again!

We stayed in one of the over water thatched villas. We loved it. Great room, loved sitting out on the deck, brilliant addition having the open sided table where you can feed the fish. Really well organised. Lovely team. We had a brilliant few days.
