We would move in there forever. We loved spending our time on the terrace observing all the lovely creatures passing by. We actually saw more animals there, than when we were hiking in the rainforest. There are some resident agoutis (Ñeque) in the garden, who pass by quite close if you are very calm. The host is super nice. The water in the shower is hot. The kitchen is modern and equipped nicely. The location is perfect to walk to Gamboa Rainforest Resort for the sloth sanctuary (and the other activities, but the visit at the sloths, butterflies and frogs was the best activity).

Set in Isla Grande and with La Punta Beach reachable within 300 metres, Macondo Hostel offers a tour desk, rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Beautiful facilities with open and outdoor spaces. The cabins as rooms are very private and cozy. The location is perfect, close to many important things such as the medical center, the main pier, grocery stores and restaurants.

Wow, what an amazing hotel right in front of the ocean. The view from our room (small double room) and from the pool was stunnig, you could overlook the ocean. The hotel and the pool are perfect for relaxing. The garden of the hotel felt like paradise, a lot of plants and there are also monkeys in the trees and a lot of colibris. And last but not least: the owners are so friendly and helpful. The host drove us und our baggage to the marina the next day, thank you for that! We were super sad that we could only stay one night and would have loved to stay longer!

Absolutely stunning! The picturesque beach boasted breathtaking scenery, with crystal-clear waters that lapped gently against the shore. The impressive play structure on the water added an extra layer of fun, while the calm and swimmable waters made for a truly relaxing experience. It was a perfect combination of natural beauty and recreational delight!

And very close to many other attractions. Just up the road, hope in a boat, and head off to an island and snorkel. Exallent host!
