Breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety. Theresa was very accommodating and picked us up by car and shuttled us back and forth to Monaghan where we had scheduled a plant visit at CombiLift. We had a delightful time with her and the owner of the home where she is running the B&B. The view from our window overlooked the lake and we were overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape. We would highly recommend staying at this location if someone is looking for a unique experience. Nothing like Irish hospitality.

We have been treated like family. We traveled with our 5 months old boy and everything was ready for accomodate him as well as for taking care of all his needs. The breakfast was prepared with cure and love making us just feeling home. Lastly we forgot our watch and it was mail us back the day after, an incredible kind gesture

Opposite the Beechill College, The Meadows Bed and Breakfast is just 2 minutes' walk from the Hillgrove Hotel and 8 minutes' walk from Monaghan town centre. Free WiFi access is available. I fell ill and the owners really looked after me.😅 They arranged medical care. They could not have been better. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was adaptable from a full Irish to a glass of water. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Meadows again. I had a good sized double room on the ground floor just off the entrance hall. It had an elevated outlook over trees and fields, yet was a short walk into the centre of the town.

Accommodations, parking, beds, location, and hostess are all lovely. We would happily stay here again. After a long day driving in Ireland it was lovely to be greeted by the hostess! Pauline is exceptionally warm and kind. We all enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodations were exceptional! We appreciated the small kitchen and breakfast foods provided. Highly recommend staying here. Easy to locate, good signage, lovely hostess, comfortable beds, and ample parking.
