Amazing location at the top of the Andes, spectacular views, historic building with lots of charm, very friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable. Drinks and dinner were available and breakfast provided. The staff made a special effort to store our bicycles. Overall a great and memorable experience. Highly recommend.

Portezuelo del Viento was a perfect hostel to stay at after the base camp trek to Aconcagua. The staff are super friendly and made us feel at home from the start. I would recommend staying for as long as you can on your trip, as there are lots of treks to do around the hostel, which the staff which gladly help you plan.
