The location is perfect - a 1 minute walk to the local and well stocked store to pick up your baguette or croissant, a short walk to the beach or access with the kayaks via the canal, and in an area with local snack bars and activities near by. The communal kitchen was very practical as there are not many places to eat nearby. Therefore, we definitely recommend a scooter or a car. The pool and the terrace overlooking the lagoon were an absolute highlight of our trip. Almost like being in an overwater bungalow :-) Many thanks for everything. From the first moment we arrived we felt at home. Mehiti and Nono are very friendly and great hosts. You can use all the facilities in the apartment, spacious living room and terrace, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and bedroom with comfortable bed and Netflix. The beach and supermarket are a bit far away but still within walking distance. Rent a scooter to explore more of the area. We can recommend it 100%!

She came to meet us at check in and showed us around and answered all the questions we had about the island and bungalow. The bungalow was clean and perfect get away for the two of us. Has all the amenities and supplies listed in ad. The balcony faced the ocean so we spent a lot of time out there. The property was close to everything we planned to do on the island - provided the island isn’t that big.

We had a great time swimming in the pool, enjoying the views and eating the amazing breakfasts (with homemade jam!) on the balcony - it was a wonderful introduction to island life!

The guest house offers a children's playground and a 24-hour front desk. I don’t usually give 10 but this place really deserves a 10. We had such an amazing and unforgettable stay at Fare Tokoau. Tea and Alex are such great hosts. The bungalows are amazing, clean, spacious and comfy. The tropical garden surrounding the bungalows is beautiful and so it is the beach view. Alex also runs the best Moorea lagoon tours so make sure you sign up for that! Their animals are lovely they have a few dogs and cats. Absolutely stunning.

We had three couples staying for several days so it was nice to each have our own space, but to spend time together on an ocean front porch.

Location is one of my favourite in French Polynesia, The place has a super peaceful atmosphere and is great to crash after an active holiday in Polynesia. The hosts are brilliant and will encourage exploring the local habitat.
