We were welcomed with a mice cool freshly squeezed juice and the ac was already on in the room, such a nice welcome. It’s a 10 min walk to Talalla beach, which is by far the quietest beach we have seen in Sri Lanka. Just 50 m outside the stay are two shops, one for fruits the other one like a mini super market, so you can buy all supplies if you would like to cook your own food. There is a kitchen with all essential tools, a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Our breakfast was included and it was good with toasted bread, a plate of fruits, fried eggs and tea (or coffee). Probably one of the nicest things in the property was the water cooler and guests are free to use it. They also have two bikes that are in good shape when compared to other ones we used in Sri Lanka. What’s more they didn’t charge for the use at all, so we biked to Hiriketiya beach and back. The hot shower is good with adjustable pressure if you would like to use it. The staff and the owners are super friendly and nice as well. Would definitely like to stay here again, for longer time. Feels just like home, super comfortable! Absolutely recommended!

The guest house features family rooms. This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. We really had an amazing time in Mimoza Mirissa. What we liked: everything was clean, there is a pool, you get a free coconut every day, beer is served, whale watching is super close, amazing beach is also close, hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. Too bad we did not the chance to spend more nights since it was such a pleasure.

Feels like a slice of luxury for the price. High ceilings, super spaces villas, felt like a real nice homely spot. So clean, comfortable and stylish. Just 5 mins to the beach and some nice local spots to eat at near by. Would 100% recommend this spot. Family and owner were really lovely and attentive but offer space and privacy as well Also the WiFi is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Thanks so much!

The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We had the most amazing stay. Rumesh has lovingly, by his own hands renovated the 4 rooms beautifully. Massive comfy bed, fantastic wet room/bathroom. No real hot water but that was no issue. No air-con but the ceiling fans are really effective so was no issue at all. We were even allowed into to the family kitchen for a Sri Lankan cooking lesson

Nicest breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka (those omelettes 🔥). Jeremey and Roshan and all of the staff were amazing and accommodating.
