They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! I stayed in the cottage for just one night, but I really liked the place itself, the people who welcomed me, and the room I stayed in. I arrived very late, past the check-in time, but they accommodated me without any issues. The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden, and in the morning, I saw an iguana, a squirrel, a rabbit, and even a peacock right in front of my door. The room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was delicious, filling, and satisfying. It’s a wonderful place - I just wish I had more time to stay there!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

Location - beautiful view from the room. A little far from town but really no trouble to either walk up the hill or get a tuk tuk. Room - very nicely set and large, comfortable bed. Breakfast - very plentiful, lovely home-cooked meal.

The room was clean, equipped with all essentials for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious. Our tuktuk excursion to Sigiriya and Dambulla Royal Cave Temple with the owner was a joy. He drove us with humor, made stops to highlight interesting spots, and even offered to take pictures of us. In the end, he personally took us to the bus stop. I would definitely recommend to others!!
