I believe it is family-run and everyone is so kind and generous from the second they met me. I am a Black Canadian traveller and took a Jett bus to Petra that arrived at 10am. I walked to the hotel to ask if I could keep my bags there while I explored Petra. It was early and the man in charge also runs the store (next door), when I talked to him, he gave me the key for the room at 10am at no additional cost, since it was already ready, which is so kind of him! In Canada and most places I have travelled to, if you could check-in that early there would be an additional charge. The room was clean, I dropped my bags off and went to explore Petra! He also provided a map and suggested ways to explore Petra. I explored Petra for 6 hours (I got the two day pass) and got back tired and went straight to bed. The second day, I woke up early and accidentally broke a candle in the lobby on my way out. He was in the store, next door and I told him and showed him, asking him how much it is and that I will pay for it. He told me it was absolutely fine and not to worry. I went into Petra for an hour and came back out. Breakfast is included on the roof, and it was his wife who was preparing breakfast, which was spectacular and she was also very very kind. I am stunned, this family is so beautiful and so is the hotel.

All staff are specially friendly, the owner speaks like 20 languages and he is awesome. There is no phone signal in the camp but they have wifi in the common areas. I booked the room with private bathroom and AC. We had dinner buffet (15JOD/person) which was ok, and breakfast (they cook the eggs as wished). Best part is the spectacle they perform after dinner (they offer a delicious tee for free). They are a like a family and you feel their hospitality. I highly recommend it.

The campground provides mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Incredible stay! I have never seen such hospitable and helpful people. Ali and his team made everything in their hands to make us feel at home. They even brought a screen to watch a football match. Special mention to our guides Salah and Mohammed and the skillful chef. Rooms were clean and comfy.

Plus it’s spotlessly clean!

Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Our host was very helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful and clean. He also supplied us with lunch boxes for our day in Petra! The location was very close to the entrance to Petra which was very nice. I would highly recommend staying here!
