The family had it classified as a national monument to be able to pay the upkeep and continue to live there. The cook make the delicious daily menu for dinner and everyone who wishes to eats together. The multicultural owners (father and son) are there to talk to with guests on a deeper level than just organizing drivers (which they do well also). Appreciated their openness and generosity.

Situato a Jodhpur, a 1 km dal Forte di Mehrangarh, il Suraj Haveli dispone di terrazza solarium, ristorante e vista sulle montagne. We enjoyed our stay in Suraj Haveli very much. All the family is very friendly and helpful on all the topics we asked. From welcome drink, places of interest to all shopping recommendations. The place is in the heart of Jodphur with a magnificient view on the rooftop facing the fort and the town. The breakfast was great and also we ordered dinner from the family which was very delicious. We definately recommend this place, it makes you feel like Indian home.

Liked being in the old part of the city. Great communication from the time of the booking and Ahmed made sure we were safely on the bus to our next destination. The food offered was tasty and plentiful cooked by the beautiful friendly women at the guesthouse. We were provided a rickshaw for our tour which was convenient. A great package of accommodation, food and tour. Ask and you will be helped. And also being an older couple, our accommodation was upgraded which we were so thankful for.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Heart of the City homestay. Even prior to my arrival, the generosity and kindness shown to me was second to none. Rashmi and his sister Poorvi assisted me immensely with a leopard safari booking at Amagarh reserve and offered suggestions for places to eat (I highly recommend Masala Chowk) and assisted with my first ever Uber booking!! I am so grateful for their assistance during my time in Jaipur. The location of the homestay is excellent - easy walking distance to the central sights. The room was very comfortable - aircon, great hot water, tea / coffee, filtered water, fridge etc... I couldn't have asked for anything more. The laundry service was efficient. The breakfasts were also incredible - I was served a combination of western and Indian cuisines which proved to be a more than satisfying start to each day. A note to other guests - please be courteous towards your fellow travellers when conversing in the courtyard... The sounds are amplified. This is a very convenient and incredibly hospitable place to base yourself while in Jaipur. Highly recommend!!

The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, very clean, with really hot water. The location is calm, 15 min by a taxi to the Royal Palace. For breakfast, four menus are available, including continental options, e.g. pancakes, tosts. As the breakfast is prepared individually, it may take longer than the buffet option. Good selection on the vegetarian dinner in the hotel.

L'hotel è a conduzione familiare, situato nella parte vecchia della città, molto comodo per raggiungere la parte blu e le attrazioni della città. Le camere sono spaziose e con ogni comfort. Lo staff è molto professionale e disponibile a soddisfare ogni necessità o richiesta. All'ultimo piano c'è la terrazza con una magnifica vista sulla città e sul forte dove abbiamo cenato gustando le prelibatezze cucinate da loro e con i prodotti del loro orto. Vi consigliamo di cenare qui alla fine di una giornata faticosa. Sono molto interessati ai suggerimenti per poter migliorare ulteriormente il sevizio. Il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto.
