Overall the hotel tariff is quite genuin and reasonably.,right in the city center , Mahabodhi Temple is about five minutes walk. The host is very decent from his tone of responses, the breakfast is being well prepared and delicious. Highly recommendable.Loved our time and will surely visit again.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. We had a great experience at Momotaro House. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. When we came the host offered us excellent Japanese tea. It was so relaxing and quiet in the middle of intensity of travelling in India. The guesthouse was very clean, and mosquito nets were provided, also washing mashine was there. Apart from the rooms, and kitchen, there was an extra living room, with very large balkony, which created homely and cosy atmosphere. Arigatou🙏

The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.
