The house is located in the central area of Exuma Island, making it very convenient to reach supermarkets, beaches, and the government dock for boat trips, all just a few minutes' drive away. There is a short stretch of about 30 meters of bumpy dirt road leading to the house from the main road, but the accommodation fee is very reasonable, offering great value for money. Additionally, the male host is a diving photographer, and the underwater photos he takes are beautiful and unique. He also recommended a lesser-known shipwreck free diving spot nearby, which has starfish and various small fish, exceeding my expectations. As a noodle lover, I enjoyed having hot noodles for breakfast every day, and the hosts kindly prepared hot water, bowls, and cups for us, showing great thoughtfulness and attention to detail. I look forward to staying in this cozy home again.

They literally helped us with everything! The first night we got there, they took us to a homecoming festival which was at the top of the island and partied with us all night. It was so much fun. We were looking to get a car so keila phoned around and got us the best deal for a car. We also wanted to do a tour so straight away Keila rang the tour people and got us in. She was literally like a mum doing everything for her kids, she was the absolute best. We could not recommend this place enough. Honestly. If we are ever back in Exuma I would never stay anywhere but here. The place is great, the location is great, and most importantly the hosts are amazing. Even little things like getting us bottles of drinking water and giving us a map of the island that she had written all recommendations on. We will miss Keila and Harcourt. We really hope to be back here one day. Please do yourself a favor, if you're going to exuma, stay here!!

Situated in Georgetown in the Exuma Islands region, Da Sugar House has a balcony. This holiday home features a private pool, a garden and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.5 km from Jolly Hall Beach. Steve! Can we say more. By far the best part of our almost three week trip across the Bahamas. Very welcoming and well well stocked accommodations. Steve went out of his way to ensure our stay was well organized and enjoyable. Property had all the basics to feel at home support us during the trip.

Certain units in the apartment complex have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and outdoor furniture. Some of the units feature a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. At the apartment complex, some units are allergy-free. Rowena picked us up at the airport and brought us to our cottage, where everything was way better than we expected. We opted for the sea view cottage, and it's adjacent to the Sandy Bottom Liquor Store (which they also run, so they're always available and close by). We had a private house with kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms, but the best part was the patio with furniture and an amazing view of the beach. We had the beach to ourselves the whole time. We opted to rent a car (pretty important on Exuma), and they had it already there for us with the keys inside. No paperwork, and cheaper than renting at the airport and more convenient. We had an excursion booked with Coastline Adventures and Rowena was proactive about calling them to make sure it was still on (forecast of wind was iffy) and when we needed to be there and all the details. When we checked out they brought us back to the airport. The cottage is very new and in excellent condition, well stocked, and the AC works well but isn't necessary with the windows open and the island breeze coming through. The kitchen had everything we needed to make basic meals, and there are restaurants nearby as well. I would 100% recommend this place and these hosts. It couldn't have been better.

This stay was excellent. All of the pictures acurately showed what it looked liked, it was located exactly where it was shown on the map (which is important given that there are no formal addresses), it was walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, a great lunch spot, and several very nice beaches. It was also great being right off of the main road.

It was conveniently located near Georgetown and near public beaches on the island. The resort and villa that we stayed in were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and having the restaurant and bar on property was perfect.

The property has an outdoor dining area. The villa is spacious, beautiful, and centrally located—perfect for exploring the area. While the final stretch of road is rough, with large potholes (a Jeep might help), we managed without one. The kitchen is well stocked, and we appreciated the supply of clean towels, beach towels, and two portable beach chairs. Even a cooler, snorkeling gear, and fins were provided. The hosts were incredibly helpful, offering great local recommendations and even arranging a birthday cake for us from a local baker. We felt very much at home. The nearby pool is clean and inviting, with plenty of lounge chairs, beach chairs, and shaded areas for relaxing. Internet troubles were quickly solved with a mobile solution, which worked well enough for our needs, even if it was a bit slow. For leisure travel, a 100% recommendation!
