The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to spend 3 days in Valbona. As we had little kids we didn't do the Valbona-Teth hike, but just walked around town (which is really small) but kids enjoyed themselves by playing on the swing and walking in the flower fields. Valbona is really quiet, which we liked! The hosts are super sweet and accommodating! We had breakfast included which was traditional and absolutely delicious and super fresh. Lunch/dinner is also traditional and super delicious. There is lots of outdoors space and beautiful views everywhere! There is a little steam at tje property where they have there own forel/fish!

This is an amazing opportunity to stay with a local family in gorgeous valley surrounded by mountains. The bedroom is upstairs by an exterior and private staircase with its own bathroom. There were 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms but we were alone since it was a bit off season. We spent our time hiking the area and relaxing in the yard. We ate breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse and the food was fresh, amazing, bountiful and a great value. Be sure to eat here. I requested vegetarian and it was no problem. The hostess and owner is just lovely. I can’t recommend this guesthouse enough. Hands down the best experience of our trip. A real cultural treat. Don’t miss it.

There is also a really nice restaurant/lounge area where you can order food at and get cold drinks. There is also a small little shop nearby the entrance where you can get "supermarket" items. The staff was super friendly and approachable and did a lot to make sure that we felt welcome. They also allowed us to "upgrade" to a room with a balcony on the second day which was a nice addition.

Quiet, private property. Very clean.It looks like a cabin with each unit having its only entrance. My 13-year-old son and I were there with another mom and her son. We each had our own unit. There are 2 units next to each other. Each room has a private bathroom. It was fun finding the guesthouse. A car can pick you up, but since you are on the hiking trail you follow red markers on rocks and trees. Breakfast was wonderful. We ate outside. Marita the host was incredible. She greeted us on the trail and walked with us to her guest house. She asked if there was anything we needed. She was flexible with the breakfast time. She offered coffee at any time.
