Siraj is amazing! He really take care of you. I had 3 hard days of food poisoning (sandwich from the city) and he helped me a lot. It was in the centre of Skardu, but not on a noisy main street. The facility consists of two buildings on either side of a relaxing, lush green garden. After your day trip, it's a great idea to sit in the garden, relax, have some tea or coffee, and chat. If you let them know in advance, you can also have dinner here. The meals are definitely sufficient amount and taste like home cooking. Besides of that we have picked and taste fresh cherries from the tree which is at the garden.

Lavender Cottage and Guest House in Skardu has a garden and a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

Lavender Cottages was like living in a fairy tale with all the beautiful flowers, wood scrollwork and architecture. The people there were so friendly and helpful. It is such a delightful, relaxing place with restaurants in easy walking’s distance. It is the perfect location to explore Khaplu Palace Fort, the Katpana cold desert and Upper Kachura Lake. At the end of a day of sight seeing, don’t miss an authentic Pakistani BBQ dinner at Lavender Cottages! If you are more adventurous, the proprietor spent decades doing the big treks to Pakistan’s biggest mountains and has even published a coffee table book with outstanding photography! We will definitely stay at Lavender Cottages on a return trip to Skardu to tackle the Concordia Trek!

If you’re looking for a place in Skardu look no further! Great value for money, good rooms and quick wifi. Hussain and his team really look after you. You can hire motorbikes from him as well so there is no need to go anywhere else.
