idyllic and calm location middle in the nature, close enough to Bocas town but far enough to have a quiet location to relax. Carlo and his wife are lovely and extremely helpful. if we ever go back to Bocas, I know where we’ll be staying!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riva B&B. The location is amazing and the view is incredible. There are lots of starfish and fish in front of the house. The breakfast is made with love and super delicious and healthy as a big plate of fruits is served on side. Ania is such a nice person and made us feel like home during our stay. Isla Caranero is a very calm and beautiful island. The main island can be reached in one minute by water taxi, it is very easy. There’s are also some nice restaurants on Isla Caranero. We absolutely recommend to stay for a couple of days in this paradise!!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt like we were at a home away from home. Marco and Pierre were absolutely lovely and the breakfasts were sublime. The property is far enough from the town to enjoy the peace and quiet of the island but close enough to walk to and enjoy. Everything that is needed is available within the B&B and if not it will be arranged. Tours leave from the dock and the stay was unforgettable. We would definitely recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.

Together with my 13-year-old daughter I had the pleasure to spend one week in the Pirate Arts Resort on Carenero Island. At first, I was hesitant to fly all the way from Germany to Panama but luckily my daughter insisted. And it was so worth it. Before we even sat foot on the island, we were very well taken care of. Weeks in advance, the managing director sent us a welcome letter which included how to get there, a very nice selection of trips and excursions to do, where to eat, etc. It also included some very practical tips in terms of which insect-repellent to buy and to stop at the local supermarket to buy the snacks you will be craving after dinner. When we finally sat foot on the island it felt like stepping into another world. There was the main house with the restaurant (it was closed when we visited but will be reopened in December and the whole operations will be run by a German chef – funny coincidence) and then there were a couple of separate 2-story houses with apartments in a tropical garden. Oh, that garden. So well maintained and so beautiful. Our apartment had a huge veranda with a table for four, a hammock, some lounge chairs (this is where I enjoyed my morning coffee) and 2 deck-chairs. Ah, and there was a star-fruit tree right in front of our house and we took full advantage of it 😊 On the veranda was a huge ventilator to keep the mosquitos away. Inside the apartment we had a big room with a fully furnished kitchen and living room with lots of books and board games. Our suite had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air-conditioning and ventilators. I also loved the fact that there were flower arrangements on every table and a fruit basket in the kitchen. Yummy. Behind the house was a washing-machine and a dryer – all very convenient. The people working there were very friendly – it felt more like a community. For us it was a great and relaxing experience in the Pirate Arts resort. I was able to fully disconnect in what felt

The apartment was amazing, looked very new and modern, was very clean and very comfortable, the location was very near to the restaurants and the center and best part was the host, pinto was an amazing host, always answered the phone no matter the time and was willing to help and give tips on the island and everything. Marjorie's apartments are perfect for a stay in Bocas del Torro. The accommodation is about 4 km outside of Bocas Town, which is why I rented a bike (super easy) to be able to move around more flexibly. but there are also cafes and beaches nearby that you can walk to or take a cab (I just preferred the bike). Every morning started with a homemade coffee in the hammock on the terrace - could be worse ;). I can recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a quiet place that is out of town on the main island.

    Everything. Such a magical little place and they have thought of all the small touches. Welcomed with a beer when you arrive, amazing deck over the sea, great kitchen, waves splashing underneath my room and around. Fantastic breakfast and super friendly staff! Also it is 5 minutes by taxi ($1) out of the main town so it's right in the village atmosphere which was so much nicer than being in the center. Much more of an authentic experience. Loved it! The only place I'd stay in Bocas!
