He initiated kasbah's restoration project by himself and it's still ongoing - you can see how much history and traditions are rooted in this place. He gave us a warm welcome to his house and showed us around in the gardens and the old village. He learned us how to prepare tajine and gave us the opportunity to visit his befriended nomad family. It is a great place to overnight to break the long trip from the Sahara Desert to Fes or Meknes. Ali, the owner and manager of the kasbah, cooked us a very tasty chicken & vegetables tajine for dinner. After an excellent breakfast, Ali sent us on our way with a bag full of delicious dates from the local palmeraie.Guest review byHenkYoung couple
