This accommodation was so unique! We wished we stayed longer!! BREATHTAKING VIEWS BEAUTIFUL AND COZY CABIN DELICIOUS HOME COOKED MEAL We stayed here for a night with a group of five friends, we were meant to go into the town for dinner but the cabin was so lovely and had such amazing views with a cozy feeling, we stayed in and had dinner made by the family (which was delicious). Sunrise is absolutely amazing, we woke up and sat on the balcony with blankets to watch it. This was our favourite accommodation we stayed at while exploring Sri Lanka. It reminded us of a ski lodge or cottage in the mountains. WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK!!! Also the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. Couldn't recommend more. Definitely worth a book, the accommodation is an experience in itself.

The host is very friendly and helpful in planning your activities, transfer to Nanu Oya, Tea factory or the waterfalls. Even helped out to reach the doctor when I was in need of some health care. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, I would recommend this guesthouse!

Wasantha and his wife are lovely people. He arranged a Tuktuk for our pick up at Nanu Oya station and also gave us a very warm welcome. The room is big, has such incredible views from the terrace and it is very calm with the sound of the forest. She offer us hot coffee and snacks in the morning! Comfortable room to visit Nuwara Eliya and enjoy the stay!! Their kid also wrote us a beautiful goodbye letter. Kindly family and place! We recommend it for sure!!

From the luxurious interior to the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, dam and tea plantations, our experience here was wonderful and a much needed getaway in an extremely calm and serene place.     Our stay at the Star holiday home was extremely pleasant. The accomodation itself was super clean, and cozy, in Nuwara Eliya where the climate is much cooler than the rest of the country. Not only was the stay refreshing, the owner is a sweet lady who taught us who to cook curry. This is a perfect spot to relax.
