The hanok was very comfortable! It was clean and I slept very well, very peaceful with nature sounds outside. Mrs Kim (the host) was very kind and cooked a full traditional korean breakfast for us, a lot of effort put inside and it was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend everyone to give it a try.

A great place to stay if you are visiting Gyeongju!Apart from the beautiful traditional rooms there are a lot of cafes,restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The owner was a very lovely person, gave a lot of recommendations for the city and made sure we didn't have any inconveniences. I would definitely recommend this place if for your next trip in Gyeongju!

Everything about Namuae was so lovely! The location was very central and we were able to park nearby and walk to the property with no difficulty. The room was larger than expected and the attached kitchenette was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was simple yet perfect. Our hosts were very helpful and even sent us lunch recommendations in Gyeongju at our request prior to check in.

We got a good first impression from the start. Although we arrived quite late, the host was ready to welcome us. Our flat had two floors, with three big beds, and we were told we could have added a futon. Because of some visa issues we had to change the number of people who were going to sleep there, but this was no problem. The pension is a bit away from the city centre, but we were working at the HICO building, which was about a one hour walk away. There was also a bus connection, and the pension is close to the famous Bulguksa temple. There are also restaurants and cafes close to the pension, but we did not have time to visit them. The surroundings are beautiful, and we were told we could explore the forest, although we sadly did not have the time. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. Everything was very clean and tidy. Mr. Kim and the others were excellent hosts. We were given breakfast every day with a mix of delicious Korean food and warm toast with an assortment of condiments. Mr. Kim even offered to drive us to our conference, so we had very relaxed mornings. Our experience in Gyeongju was so much better because of them! The area was very nice and calm. Thank you so much for everything! Absolutely recommend this place if you are going to Gyeongju. We mostly returned from the city by taxi, which was always no problem but be prepared to have the address accessible in Korean.

    Great stay in a traditional Hanok. Harry, the host, was very kind and helped us make the most of our one-day visit in Gyeongju by making good recommendations and helping with organizing transportation. The hotel is located central in the village and close to many main sights. Would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here.

    It was really nice to have food for breakfast. The location is good. I walked to the folk village and to the National Museum. The owners were very, very responsive when we reached out to them. The house is beautifully designed and made. A true treasure.

    A great experience. We stayed in an apartment villa with two rooms with private bathrooms, a living room with kitchen and an enclosed terrace with indoor pool. This is definitely one of the best accommodations I have visited in Korea.

    Location of the accommodation is really good, as it is along the main street of the "old town" of Gyeongju. Archaeological sites and the traditional hanok village are very close by, as are many restaurants and cafes. The modern city centre is further away but also at a walkable distance. The host is very helful and friendly.

    Spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, big double spa bath and swimming pool below the balcony. Hot spa bath in the room was free to use despite what we read beforehand. Bed on a low ceiling mezzanine was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. 10 minute walk to property from bus stop through endearingly quirky village. Very upmarket cafes nearby on side of the reservoir.
