It was just a few minutes walk away from the bus stops. The onsen bath was atmospheric and the temperature felt just right (not too hot even for inexperienced bathers). The staff was wonderfully welcoming, the room lovely and the futon beds extra comfortable. The view over the trees and the windows that slide open were superb, and made our stay because we could enjoy the rain from inside the room. It was good to experience a Ryokan and traditional Kaiseki dinner in our room. Arima Onsen is a lovely village to walk through and try the different foods.
