The room (Room 3) was very nice but the views out the window were absolutely stunning. Also, the mattress and pillows are excellent (although our stay was directly after several nights in a camper van, although I'm sure that wasn't the main reason I thought that). The host also provided a stocked refrigerator with water and wine, in addition to complimentary whiskey in a beautiful decanter.

Very friendly owner that directed to delicious evening restaurants and gave us wonderful directions to reach a shortcut path downtown. We felt very safe and welcomed. Reasons for that were easy parking on a nice gravel spread in front of the house, tea and cake on arrival, spotless and extremely comfortable room (the whole place was very clean and well looked after), top quality breakfast and a very welcoming and attentive hostess.

We were grateful for the shelter that this guesthouse provided on a particularly rainy day during our hike along the Kintyre way - what a luxurious place after camping outdoors, with a quiet, clean and spacious room. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast amazing. We continued on our hike the next day, but certainly could well imagine coming back for a longer stay.
