Lovely, quiet location away from the crowds but easy walk to the Academia, restaurants, and other attractions. Great having cooked to order breakfast each day! Spacious suite, big balcony , large modern bathroom . Host recommended great restaurants. Tram to the airport stopped right out front. Loved having elevator and housekeeping service! It was the best! If you can, stay in the room with Armo River scene. I haven’t stayed a better room. Probably, I will not stay in a better one either. The hotel is said to be built in 14th century if it’s true.

    Breakfast was excellent, and generous. We loved the music from the record player, the open doors to the garden, and your wonderful waitress who came from Brazil... she couldn't have been more helpful or charming. She is such a great asset to Villa Ape Rosa. The Villa was in a pleasant and quiet area of Firenze, and getting the transport from Leopoldo in and out of City Centre was easy. But we found the walk back uphill to the Villa steep and difficult. The Villa was charming, and full of character.
