Located in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach, Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Everything! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was amazing, cleaned every day. Food at the restaurant is 10/10. Pool and gardens are so well kept would highly recommend this place!!!

The beach is a bit of a walk, but that actually made the place feel more peaceful and secluded, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and Lina, the host, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Also saw many different types of birds! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and unique place to stay in Palomino.

It felt authentic, welcoming, and safe, with friendly locals and a laid-back vibe that made me want to stay longer. This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. I’ll definitely be back!
