Genuinely the most impressive stay of our Bali trip and so perfect we couldn’t have been happier. I’m writing this months after our holiday and we’re still beaming over the service and the memories made during our stay here. Special thanks to Ada, Bintang and Subali and the rest of the Khamara staff. They were the reason our stay was so lovely, we couldn’t be more thankful for their hospitality and help. Their service and ability to meet needs and requests is unmatched, really nice and generous people. The food! Besides the look of the villa and location, we were swayed by the many reviews talking about the food and we couldn’t agree more. Everything was so delicious, we ate like kings for three days and were so satisfied with the options, quality and taste. Note, the wifi can be spotty at times. The first night was close to terrible but the days after were completely fine. We thankfully had smart tvs, Netflix and prime available. If we can’t connect phones to the TVs this is a great alternative and we appreciated the feature, people want to relax after long days out in the sun and this was a bonus (hotels in Kuta are a bit outdated and use satellite tvs). We stayed in the stand alone villa, however the neighbours opposite us were so respectful that being in the double story would likely be an equally comfortable stay. Would definitely love to see them expand the Khamara suites, it’s a perfect and well thought out villa. So clean, amazing amenities and overall a perfect hotel and stay.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Gamat garden homestay. The views are incredible, it's amazingly peaceful and quiet, the restaurant is great, the mornings before sunrise a concert of singing birds and the staff very helpful and really nice made us feel like we were among friends ❤️❤️❤️ I highly recommend this place for families, couples and anyone looking for a wonderful secluded place out of the crowds. Also the nearby beach Gamat Bay has some of the best snorkeling in Nusa Penida.
