Set in Egilsstadir, 5.9 km from Hengifoss, Hengifosslodge Skáldahús has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The kitchenette was very well equipped. Felt like we were in a log cabin. Cozy beds, beautiful view, and met by a friendly host.

The Bank Sleeping Guesthouse in Neskaupstaður features a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The room was amazing with very comfy beds. Nice interior in general, warm and welcoming. The baths were also amazing, clean and with lots of facilities. Overall it exceeded all our expectations, it was a very enjoyable stay!

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottage is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. Jón is a very friendly and talkative host, gladly sharing information about the region, Iceland etc. with guests. The room was small but more than suffucient, the facilities, kitchen and wash room were everything we needed.
