Me and my girlfriend recently had the pleasure of staying at the Boutique Hotel in Sri Lanka, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. A big part of what made our stay so special was the wonderful hospitality shown by Ms. Dias, the owner, and her amazing staff. Firstly, Ms. Dias was incredibly helpful and kind. She was instrumental in organizing a birthday surprise for my girlfriend, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. Her warmth and willingness to assist in any way she could really stood out to us. The staff at the hotel were equally fantastic. Every single person, from the waiters to the chef, and even the guard, went out of their way to make us feel welcome, safe, and well-cared-for. Their friendliness and attention to detail were noticeable and made our stay that much better. Speaking of attention to detail, the food at the hotel deserves a special mention. The restaurant served some of the most delicious meals we've had. Every dish was a delight, and the chef clearly knows their craft. The breakfasts were particularly great, a perfect start to each day with a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool area was a great place to relax, and we spent quite a bit of time there enjoying the serene atmosphere. Overall, our stay at the Boutique Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. We're so grateful to Ms. Dias and her team for their exceptional service and for making our trip to Sri Lanka so memorable. We're definitely looking forward to coming back!

I had a fantastic stay at this guest house, which is perfectly located just 5 minutes from the local train station and only 10 minutes from the beautiful Weligama beach. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met, providing a welcoming and caring atmosphere throughout our stay. The host Vasitha and staff are very friendly and helpful. Vasitha even gave us a little tour (and lift) on his way to work:) The accommodation is spacious, clean and has everything you need. Breakfast is great and was different on both days we stayed - which was really nice!

I had an amazing stay at Rusara's Guest Home and couldn’t be happier with the value for money I received. The place is run by a lovely family who are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The owner was super helpful with every request I had—from arranging a bike rental in no time to ensuring I could extend my stay easily. When I needed an air-conditioned room, he immediately accommodated me without any hassle. The location is perfect: right on the main road in Weligama, just a quick 2-3 minute bike ride to all the surf schools and cool hangout spots. It’s a calm and peaceful spot, and you’re also just a short walk away from Domino’s Pizza and KFC if you’re looking for something quick to eat. The guesthouse offers multiple rooms and a shared kitchen with a stove and fridge, making it ideal for solo travelers or couples. It’s a very honest and down-to-earth place, and what makes it even better is knowing your stay supports a local family business. That personal touch really makes a difference. If I visit Weligama again, I’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and welcoming place to stay. Had a wonderful experience here! The owner and his lovely family made me feel like a daughter here. I felt safe and the room was comfortable and clean. The beach is like a minute away and you can easily walk or take a tuktuk to the center of weligama. Really recommend it and definitely come back here again!
