What a fabulous experience! It was one of these rare occasions when a 10 is not enough, the best Bed and Breakfast we stayed in over 2 months around the British Isles! Great price, ideal location and the epitome of hospitality. The owners made sure to take care of every detail: clean and functional rooms; good taste and elegance everywhere; generous welcoming treats in the room to make you feel at home; really home-made breakfast in a cosy environment and with abundance of very good quality, healthy and traditional tastes. Helga and Deneyes were brilliant hosts with an eye for detail in every area of the hotel. From the moment you walked in their welcome was like meeting old friends, the entrance hall was a delight showing their South African heritage. Having been shown to our room we knew immediately we were going to enjoy our 5 day stay, the room was great far exceeding our expectations and would put many a 5 star hotel to shame. The bed was so comfortable we had fabulous nights sleep. Breakfast each morning was a time to chat to Helga and Deneyes about our plans for the day, the food was excellent and we were able to select from a varied menu. We would have no hesitation booking our stay here again and another couple we meet at the hotel shared our sentiments, our stay was first class, thank you for looking after us.

We loved everything. Jan and Steve are such lovely people who met us outside the house, helped wirh rhe bags and chatted away with us. The house is amazingly beautiful, very clean and extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. Rhe breakfast was huge and they even had Vegemite for us Australians. Loved every minute of our stay.
