The apartment was very cosy and perfectly tidy, sited in a strategical point in Portobello High Street, very near to the seaside, a few steps from the bus stop, where line 26 brings you to the city centre in 20-30 min. Very easy to reach from the airport with public transports. Fits for a couple but also for 3 with its 2 bedrooms and a big open space living room, linked to a kitchen with everything you'll need to cook, bake or just enjoy a cup of tea. Anne, the landlord, was really kind and helpful, everything was ready for us, even some sweet treats, milk, tea bags and coffee which we exploited immediately after our arrival. The towels were included and there's also a washing machine and everything to do the ironing. So fits perfectly even for a long stay. The window view is on the street, but nice, as the apartment is in the corner of the building and the windows are wide, so there's a lot of light during the day. Moreover, amenities like supermarkets, chemists and restaurants, are very near, just a few steps from the apartment. There's a nice pub literally next door, in the same building, called Portobello Tap. After our stay we thought... how about moving here? So five stars are not enough to describe Anne, her apartment and her wonderful city, Edinburgh!

The hosts, Chris and Sinead, were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The homemade shower gel was really lovely to use also. The location, about 25min by bus from Edinburgh was just what we wanted, quiet and close to the beach. The bus stop was only a 2min walk away but we had no traffic noise.
