Communication with host in advance was so helpful. They gave us tips on getting there (bus, taxi, walking), checked whether we needed the extra bed making up etc. The bed and sofa bed were v comfy. The bathrooms were spotless. The shower was better than my shower at home. The apartment was warm, safe, cozy. The bus to St Louis train station was a one minute walk away and took 5 minutes.

A few close restaurants less than 8 minutes away, but make reservations. If not, again tram takes you downtown quickly. Buy multi-day tram pass, well worth it. If driving, well worth to pay for the parking garage that is associated with the booking.

A beautiful historic building – the owners have preserved the architecture, the old staircases, and the overall atmosphere and charm of this very old structure, while at the same time providing guests with the comforts of a modern bathroom, kitchen, and refrigerator. Everything is very original, beautiful, and full of character. The hosts were very accommodating – upon our arrival, we realized that we wouldn't need such a large apartment and mentioned that we could be placed in a smaller one, to which they immediately responded that they would refund the difference, and they did. It was very romantic and wonderful.
