Set in Isando, 20 km from Johannesburg, City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport boasts an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The location is perfect since it is within walking distance to the airport terminals. When I checked in, the receptionist was very polite, cheerful and welcoming. I was pleased to be given a room with the most beautiful views of Johannesburg just as I had requested prior to my arrival. The room was excellent and had everything an international traveler would need (including different types of sockets to charge mobile phones or shaving machines). When I checked out, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that one of the hotel staff (a young porter) carried my luggage and walked with me to Terminal B. A truly wonderful experience!

Very friendly owners and staff. Home from home. Very helpful with every request and helped to get back my phone left in the Uber. Terrific service, excellent people and staff. Good food available at B&B.. Shopping centre 1.6 ks away had good restaurants. I will stay again.. good venue and staff

Found the courtesy bus with the help of airport staff at OR Tambo airport, regular service, friendly and polite drivers, journey time was around 5 mins from airport to the hotel. We had a quick check in, room was spacious and clean, slept very well after long flight as comfortable bed. Safe was not working but we were only there for the one night. Bar staff were great, food also very good. Had a good breakfast, nice selection, left the following day back to the airport as planned. Would stay again should we nightstop in Johannesburg

I liked that the place is in a quiet environment, and the privacy is top notch , however the place needs improvement on the cleanliness of the cupboards, spilled staff in the cupboards, check if there are leftover foods before other guests check in, I asked for the television to be updated but nothing was fixed until I checked out ,

Mykhaya is okay with their location but passing through Kempton park to get there is really dangerous at night better travel when there is still light to see the road.Driving through Kempton park is terrifying at night.My rural gravel road is more safe than tarred and potholed Kempton park road.Looks like the entire JHB is on a downward spiral.

The area of Kempton Park I was in, @Nimrod Park, was very safe and peaceful. It was easy to get around, especially with the place being at a good location, with many amenities close by. I had the most delicious steak roll from @Karee_Vleismark at 59 Monument Road. I can't forget the awesome memories I made at the ice rink too by Festival Mall!

The Hotel is not positioned in the best area. Most properties look neglected and frayed around the hotel. The area needs a good cleanup. Having said that, I still felt safe and unthreatened once at the hotel.
