The Econo Lodge hotel is conveniently located in north Hattiesburg at the US Highway 49 and Interstate 59 interchange. This hotel is just one mile from the University of Southern Mississippi. I did not like anything about this property. All of the Booking reviews are fake. This property is used for hookers. I was approached by a pimp outside of my room. Three condoms on the ground in the parking lot. The room was something out of a horror story. The light switch had exposed wiring and could easily electrocute yourself. The tv was not working. It smelled horrible in the room. Hot and stuffy. No hot water at all. We left after 10 minutes of being there with no refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY
