The staff were delightful, kind, friendly and always helpful. The accommodation was excellent for my daughter and I. We could not have been happier. Any query we had, or the adaptability of our meals were all catered for with such grace.

As a solo traveller, it was very easy to socialize with guests due to the friendly vibes, lovely bar with views of the sunset and the communal dining. The food at lunch and dinner was excellent and incredibly good value - we had a three course dinner including fresh fish every day and vegetarian guests are well catered-for. My room was very cute and the outdoor shower is lovely. The whale shark encounters were very well-run and Luka, the whale shark interns and the boat crew ensured we had a good experience. The manager Betty works so hard to look after everyone and creates a very special atmosphere on Mafia Island. Eva and the reception staff were super friendly and really helpful!
