The property was cute and lovely a family home from grandparents. It was comfortable and very close to the airport - walking distance less than 15mins walk. It was close to a great Indian restaurant which had delicious food and such a variety.

What a perfect place for us was a late arrival at airport and travelling away from Faro next day. Was the coziness peaceful sleep we had in a week travelling!! The property is exceptionally clean well maintained comfortable bedding. We stayed in the womens dorm and it was excellent overnight for a rest.

Check in was simple and easy, great clear instructions of how to enter and everything was as was explained. The room was clean and tidy, the air on was already on and so the room was a good temperature when we got there. Bathroom was clean and tidy, they are shared bathrooms but we had no issues with this. Easy location from the airport, it took us 10 minutes to walk there.

Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. If Benidorm is Spanish Blackpool then Faro is Portuguese Skegness. The locals definitely make it an enjoyable place to visit, but only if you at least learn to say hello and thank you in Portuguese, purely out of respect

Quiet mainly residential area. Beautiful long sandy beaches Long board walks that connect beaches. Great walks and cycling in area A trip to Loulé is a must and Faro old town and beach is easily accessible. Great restaurants all along beach.

I was robbed by 5 guys - the stole my phone and my wallet,...
I was robbed by 5 guys - the stole my phone and my wallet, when I refused to give them my pin numbers they threatened to kill me, I ran to a hotel and asked them to phone the police, the police were dismissive, and when I refused to leave (because the gang were waiting for me) the police officer beat me unconscious, I was taken to hospital with a lot of injuries. I attended the police station 5 times and at no point did I have any faith that the police would take action, they didn't even record the beating by the officer in the first statement (everything was in Portuguese), I suspect this has happened before and they expect to get away with it. I will make sure they don't. I would never return to Faro and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it is not safe at night, especially for solo tourists.

Not child/ family friendly. Outdoor pool freezing. Indoor pool reserved for adults only even though when we booked it had children’s times scheduled. Main reason we booked was for the indoor pool. Very isolated if you don’t have a car. Otherwise everything was as expected in a 5star hotel.

Where i stayed felt very safe .... even when it was late. There are many fantastic restaurants nearby. Did notice that they've removed some of the public seating which is a pity. I was on crutches so those seats were useful.

Perfect accommodation, large terrace, beautiful kitchen with all appliances we needed. Good choice of restaurants in the area. Amazing holiday destination which we will definitely be returning. Only negative point was that there was not a suitcase stand as we do not like to place suitcases on bed when emptying. Beautiful, comfy large bed with large bathroom. Summary =the perfect holiday, thankyou Quinta do Lago Country Club.

From US$82 per nightWe had a wonderful stay at this property near Faro Airport. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean, with a peaceful atmosphere. It’s in a great location — quiet and relaxing, yet convenient for exploring Albufeira and other nearby tourist spots. We especially loved the balcony with its lovely view — perfect for watching the sunset in the evenings after the swim at the beach,which is by the way very located very close by car. The host was welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The hostel is located about 15 minutes from Faro Airport, which is convenient. However, the facilities are extremely basic and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. For the quality provided, the price feels definitely too high. It might be an option for travelers who need to catch an early morning flight, but otherwise, I would not recommend it.
