A recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Dharavandhoo, near Dharavandhoo Beach, Manta Sky Inn features free WiFi, a private beach area and a garden. I stayed in Manta Sky Inn for 4 nights, and I found it to be very good. It is perfect for divers, the rooms are very spacious, it's a new construction, spotless clean, good wifi, and the staff is really helpful if you need anything. The accom owner Mr Sadiq received me at the airport in Male, and helped me with everything including all the transportation, money exchange; he even showed me around the Male so I don't miss anything. Its been a wonderful stay and diving, in the special island of Dharavandhoo during the Manta season!

Located in Finolhus in the Baa Atoll Region, 15 km from Baa Atoll, Kiha beach features an outdoor pool and views of the sea. We generally go on holiday several times per year, but..
Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport and on the other half by the locals and a few guesthouses. Perfect place to relax and forget all the rest. Not much to see on the island. Few souvenir shops and one restaurant near the airport. Some excursions are organized by the guesthouses. Very quiet place. Friendly people, lovely beach and dolphins strolling by. I recommend Honney Bunny restaurant next to the airport. Dharavandhoo is not a place to stay for too long if you prefer busy environments.
Small local islands for chilling, It has everything you need with step accessibility. There are several guest houses, dive center, bikini beach, jungle side and beautiful coral reef. Highly recommend for short and longer stay.
Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island. There is not much to do other than diving and beach time, both of which were truly wonderful. The island does not allow alcohol, and females should respect the Muslim culture and cover shoulders and thighs, and swim at the "bikini beach." A bicycle is all that is needed to get around the island, Keep in mind that there are few cafes and shops, so be prepared for diving, sun and relaxation. Airport provides convenient transfers to Male,
Maalhos is a beautiful island surrounded by white coral beaches. It has a forest full of palms and tropical trees and plants. If you visit it in the evening, use mosquito repellent. Local villagers are nice and friendly. There is a bikini beach with sun beds and amazing access to turquoise colour water. Beaches are white sand and on several parts of the island you can find corals and shells on the beach. There is a diving center, you can rent a water scooter or go for a snorkeling trip. Snorkeling was an amazing experience. We saw tropical fish, sting rays, corals and big turtles while snorkeling. We went for a dolphin watch and saw dozens of dolphins swimming and jumping in the sea. There is an isolated island close to Maalhos with beautiful turquoise lagoons. Unfortunately there was also quite a lot of trash when we visited and the forest is full of mosquitoes, so don't forget to take your repellent if you visit. During some months you can watch mantas. We had the luck and the blue bioluminescence plankton 3 or 4 nights on the beach, it was a breath taking experience. We stayed and took breakfast, lunch and dinner in Manta Reserve Hotel, which is the best place to stay in Maalhos. You can walk around the island in 45 minutes.
The island is very small and you can walk it, in flip-flops, rather slowly from one end to another in about 15 minutes. It is very quiet, full of wonderful beaches, seemed safe and the grocery store was easily reachable as well.
A local island so don't expect the resort life - the beaches look picture perfect, but the streets are full of trash. You can experience and learn about the local lifestyle, traditions etc. which is a big plus in my opinion. I read that the house reef is one of the best in the Maledives and I can absolutely vouch for that.
