The old town is beautiful, but too crowded and touristy. I would have preferred a more authentic historic center. The sea, a 10-minute drive from the center, is wonderful. Bathrooms always paid (50 cent or 1 eur).

Tivat Marina(Porto Montenegro )is lovely and modern. The promenade is very pretty with lots of restaurants and cafes. There is also the very upmarket marina which is very chic . lots of road building though to get there.

A scenic place, some places for sightseeing and hiking are close or reachable by car or taxi. The place is not overcrowded and beaches less busy than in Tivat and Kotor. I would recommend to those willing to be outside the crowds.

The old town is busy and buzzing but with big groups of tourists wandering around. There was a lot of music with a romantic atmosphere. Local supermarkets were packed & stressful to visit. The cable car has stunning views but at quite a price! The cable car shuttle bus is expensive - may be worth getting a taxi. We got stranded at the top when rain stopped the cable car running. Then the return bus was delayed & the taxi drivers tried telling us the bus had broken down! Lots of waiting around it took the whole day in the end.

An expensive tourist city with limited space on free beaches. On paid beaches, sunbed prices can reach up to 45 euros per day. Restaurant food is average in quality and overpriced. Next time, I'll choose a different city.

I found the town itself not quite my vibe but the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. When I need to come back I will make sure to rent a car so I an explore more. The town is a great base for that with everything you need for convenience. Just not much to do in itself but great as a base to explore the region I think. I did find a nice ancient Roman path with ruins just walking distance from my accommodation. It wasn’t mentioned on google maps or in local signage. But that was special.

Thank Sladja ,Thanks to your parents who were all up and down making sure I feel home away from home..If I ever come back I will definitely choose this place again. Very convenient.The bus station is just 7 minutes away. The Tivat Airport is less than 10 minutes away. I would rather this place 100/100 . Very beautiful and hospitable hosts .

On our departure day, they kindly drove us to Tivat Airport, which made everything much easier. The only thing to keep in mind is that payment needs to be made in cash on site, but apart from that everything was perfect. We’re very happy with our choice and would definitely recommend it!
