Facing the beachfront, Koi Resort Saint Kitts, Curio Collection by Hilton offers 4-star accommodation in Basseterre and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. The staff were absolutely excellent and particularly the receptionist, Kashika, who went out of her may to make sure I was comfortable. Similarly one of the shuttle drivers, whose name escapes me, was outstanding. Waitresses too were always friendly and cheerful.

From the moment when I booked, I received plenty of information not just about the property, but also the neighbourhood, security, the city, walking and driving distances, car rental, and many other issues. If I asked questions, I received a prompt answer. The hosts welcomed me, and I enjoyed much independence during the stay. This is a spacious and well-maintained property with AC in the bedroom (though not in the living room). I do not use TV much, but the one in the living room is state of art with channels from around the world. It is possible to walk to the next, very big supermarket and some restaurants, or take a bus to the city centre. The views from Beacon Hill are magnificent.
