The Peace House - Siem Reap provides air-conditioned rooms in Phumĭ Sândăn. 5 miles from Angkor Wat and 5.5 miles from King's Road Angkor, the property features a garden and a bar. Very convenient to the airport. Restaurant outside the door. Menu had a lot of frog and we could hear them everywhere ! Staff didn't know anything about liquor in the bar but we found this funny rather than upsetting. For $24 you can't beat it

Koemle Home is a recently renovated guest house in Siem Reap where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. My wife and I traveled to Siem Reap, Cambodia, like many others, to experience the beauty and magic of Angkor Wat. This trip was part of a two-month journey through Southeast Asia and Japan. Even though we don't belong to the youngest generation we enjoy organizing our travels ourselves, and this year was no exception. Cambodia was a new country for us, and the main challenge was deciding where to stay. By chance, we discovered Koemle Homestay. We prefer to avoid hotels in favor of experiencing local life and culture as much as possible. Staying with the Koemle family turned out to be as enriching an experience as visiting the ancient temples of Siem Reap. As agreed, Koemle picked us up at the airport upon our arrival - on time and in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. It felt like we had already become friends during the 50-minute drive to his home. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by his entire family: his lovely wife, Chinda, and their four wonderful children—Maryta, Elliya, Outra, and baby Kitakun. Koemle Homestay is a small apartment attached to the family’s main house. It has a separate entrance with a tinted glass door, a spacious main room with two very comfortable beds (comparable to U.S. queen-sized beds), and a large bathroom featuring a glass-enclosed shower. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The living area is tastefully decorated with a few pieces of furniture, a wardrobe, and amazing large photographs taken by Koemle Saing himself (he is a professional photographer). The apartment also has a small front yard filled with tropical greenery, providing a shaded oasis from Cambodia’s hot and humid weather. We usually enjoyed our breakfasts right there. The house Is located on the outskirts of the city, far enough to offer a taste of Cambodian countryside life yet close enough to reach Pub Street within about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk. After our experience, we wouldn’t trade this type of stay for any hotel in the city at all.

I stayed at the hotel for 17 days, lovely hotel, excellent chef, food was amazing. What made my stay exceptional was the staff, receptionists, cleaning staff, waiters, always smiling, always going out of their way to to make sure I had everything I needed from organising day trips to answering any questions I had. I thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Sok Phen Homestay in Siem Reap provides accommodations with a terrace and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. My family and I had such a great experience with Sok Phen and his family! They really made us feel like we were a part of the family. It was a great way to experience the hospitality and culture that Cambodia is known for. His wife prepared delicious meals when requested and a Tuktuk driver was arranged to take us anywhere we needed. Accommodations are basic but spacious and comfortable. Sok Phen happily shared his community with us and for that we are truly grateful!

Bunyong Homestay in Siem Reap provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and a bar. With lake views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Our experience of homestays has always been good on this trip but Mr Bun and his family and friends were just pure joy. We arrived a day early and he welcomed us with open arms. His daughters were a delight and their English is great. The homestay is on the edge of town but Mr Bun can arrange transport for you to anywhere either by car or by his friend, Champion, with a tuk tuk. We had bicycles so went everywhere on those. Breakfast and an evening meal is included in the cost and these were always joyous occasions starting with a beer and a game of uni with the kids followed by more beer, maybe some happy water and a delicious meal. . It’s a completely different experience than staying in the center of town in a hotel with a pool but one we much prefer. I can’t thank Mr Bun and his family enough for letting us into their lives for a short while. Free water, tea and coffee are on offer at the homestay too and fresh fruit for breakfast grown on their property.

The overall appearance of the hotel is just charming - the staff super friendly and service oriented, probably the largest and best pool in whole Siem Reap for real swimmers, excellent garden, very well kept, unique samples from the historic times of Angkor Wat. Excellent breakfast buffet with western and asian features.Very suitable also for long term stays.
