Only 11-15 minutes by foot to BGY departures and felt safe to walk there during night as well. Also Orio center accessible by foot approximately same time. Surprisingly quiet during night vs proximity to airport. Would stay again!

I didn’t expect that Bergamo was so beautiful if you go to Bergamo you must definitely go to the old City at the top of the mountain, the view is panoramic, the narrow streets and lots of shops there, we had proper traditional Italian food there ad very tasty and reasonably prices.

Extremely helpful staff !
Extremely helpful staff !!! Even though our flight was cancelled last minute and we therefore didn’t make it to the La Rocca the staff was still immensely helpful and very responsive. Comforting in a chaotic situation like ours! I’d definitely book them again anytime! Also the English was flawless which made for no misunderstandings.

The good part of this accommodation was that the apartment was really close to the airport. We lost our flight and rescheduled for the next day early in the morning so that is the reason that we choose this apartment and because it was of the cheapest in the area. What we met was not so pleasant. There were still toilet papers even with blood inside the toilet bin, the pillows and the bedsheets where dirty, the glasse for the water had even lipstick on them and the apartment in general was not cleaned. There was a bottle of water inside the fridge ( tap water) which we never tried after what we had seen in first place. And all these for just 120€…!

This hotel is located almost across the street from the airport. But at the same time it is quiet, clean and cozy. The staff is attentive and responsive. We arrived at three in the morning and got a little lost looking for the hotel due to road construction. The receptionist told us in great detail how to get there: he answered our call at 3 am!!! Breakfast is a buffet in a small restaurant - very tasty and homely. There is a vegan option for breakfast! I recommend this hotel to everyone who arrives at night and needs to wait for morning transport to Milan. Or a lot of time between planes. What I would like to improve: to have disposable slippers in the rooms. And that there would be discounts for accommodation if the stay at the hotel is less than half a day (we arrived at the hotel at 3 am and left at 8 am on the same day, but paid as a full day).

The old town of Bergamo is actually larger than it seems...
The old town of Bergamo is actually larger than it seems with many winding interesting streets. There are lots of shops to browse through (if that's your thing) but also lots of history and beautiful views. Definitely spend a whole day in the Old Town and enjoy!
