The Park Inn Shannon Airport is ideally located just steps from the main terminal building of Shannon International Airport. Room was lovely and warm considering the amount of snow outside Dinner: waiters were very attentive and could answer any of the questions we asked Booking in was very easy also the checking out. Was served tea and coffee on request as we arrived before check in time

Built in 1793, Carrygerry is a charming country house on Ireland’s scenic County Clare Coast. Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

The Studio apartment near Shannon Airport is a fantastic spot to use as a homebase while exploring the westside of Ireland. Judith was very accommodating and helpful with any questions that I had during my stay. It is a short walk to some shopping and restaurants. With that said, I would recommend having your own transportation; however, I am not sure that its entirely necessary.

Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Shannon is located in the heart of Shannon’s town centre, next to the Skycourt shopping centre and only 5.1 km drive from the Shannon Airport. It was very spacious yet cozy and quaint. Brian and Ona were very pleasant and had genuine smiles.

Shannon Castle Holiday Cottages Type C by Trident Holiday Homes, a property with a garden, is located in Ballysteen, 27 km from St. A gorgeous location, so quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the castle and out over the water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.

Cosy Room is set in Shannon, 19 km from Thomond Park, 20 km from King John's Castle, and 20 km from The Hunt Museum. We were able to use the whole apartment which was nice, it was very clean and comfortable and a great location. The host was very nice and helpful.

Located in Shannon and only 6.7 km from Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Balally House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Exceptional! Beautifully kept; every detail has been considered - the layout of the house, light/airy bedroom, modern bathroom, and exceptionally clean. Very efficient service and delicious breakfast.

The Shannon Springs Hotel is situated between the historic towns of Ennis and Limerick and offers 71 bedrooms equipped with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy free parking and free Wi-Fi. Very friendly fast efficient check in with simple room directions. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. ,217 in my stay. Nice fresh comfortable bed with more than enough pillows lol 😉. Breakfast was buffet with plenty choice. I don't drink alcohol but the bar was lively and buzzing. This hotel has cracked how to offer quality efficient friendly value service. Thanks all.

Offering a garden and lake view, Bunratty Meadows Bed & Breakfast is situated in Bunratty, 15 km from Dromoland Golf Course and 15 km from Dromoland Castle. The stay was exceptional, and the location and experience were wonderful. Breakfast and the fantastic coffee machine made it all that much better. Cannot recomend more highly.
