The house was very clean and the bathrooms were definitly sufficient. Also very good prices to rent car's or scooters. I think the scooters were some of the best/fastest on the island! With the chickens and olivetrees in the garden you immediatly felt like a local and the view from the house was suberb!

We would have a lot of thing to write that we liked in the structure, but at the top of the list we have to write surely the ospitality of the manager Manolis, nice person. To follow we can speak about strategic position for beaches and climbing. Striving equipped with all the comforts necessary for a stay!

Providing a garden, Το σπιτάκι to spitaki Τhe little house offers accommodations in Panormos Kalymnos. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the vacation home free of charge. We came to Kalymnos for rock climbing and a more authentic Greek experience. Panormos is a short drive from Masouri, the hub of climbing tourism, so it was the best of both worlds. Roosters wake you in the morning rather than the buzz of scooters that dominates Masouri. The house is small ( of course) and comfortable, in a lovely environment. Cool bakery nearby, easy access to all Kalymnos offers in a relaxed setting.

Offering a garden, Anthemis Luxury Villa offers accommodations in Kalymnos. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi. The house was a perfect fit for our big family. Our first impression as we entered, was how clean and neat the home was. All the modern amenities were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked with the best appliances. The bedrooms were comfortable and had lots of storage space, and a balcony for every room where we enjoyed the mountainous views and olive trees. The bathrooms were very roomy with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water for all of us to get ready at the same time. The strong WiFi service made it convenient to use the internet for those who had to work during our stay. Yannis answered all of our questions promptly before our stay reassuring our concerns and special requests. While there, he quickly attended to our additional needs and questions. The entire home is designed with the best decor and style. This is an exceptional home which made our stay even more pleasurable.

Kalymnos is a more traditional Greek island, it is free of the hustle and bustle of Santorini and Mykonos style islands. However for a traveller who wishes to enjoy a few slower days on a quad bike or hire car to self pace a 4-5 day experience I can highly recommend Kalymnos.
The holiday was a climbing trip to Kalymnos and Masouri is maybe the best location for this. Vehicle parking could be tricky at times - we had a car rather than a scooter - but always managed to squeeze in somewhere.
good restaurants, good bus service, helpful people, close to beach, good walking area. superb scenery, good centre for visiting other areas of the island. Panormos is sometimes spoilt by noisy motorbikes/ scooters in early hours and of course the area suffers from exaust pollution. The area is renowned for climbers, if that is your choice, swimming is safe in main beaches on the island. Walkers are well catered for on the many paths on the hills.
Relatively low-key, likeable resort. Not traditional, but not an eye-sore either. There's a mini market, a few taverns a couple of indifferent bars and a pleasant enough beach (pebbles, a bit of sand, some reefs) with a view of the amazing Telendos islet. You can walk to Melitsaha (around 10') or Massouri (also 10'). Sadly, the exhausts are right in your face as you walk along the main road, which even in late September was too busy with cars and noisy mopeds. For eating or a glass of smooth raki (a kind of Greek grappa) or even an afternoon coffee, the Smugglers' Cott has great sea views, pleasant food and excellent service.
Kalymnos is truly a hidden gem in the Dodecanese islands of Greece, offering a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The climbing spots are well-maintained and provide breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Beyond climbing, Kalymnos boasts beautiful beaches with crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. The underwater world is vibrant and full of life, making it a paradise for diving enthusiasts. The island’s capital, Pothia, is a picturesque town with charming streets, colorful houses, and a lively harbor. It’s a great place to explore local shops, enjoy delicious Greek cuisine at the many tavernas, and soak in the vibrant culture. Kalymnos is also rich in history and tradition. You can visit the Archaeological Museum to learn about the island’s past, or explore ancient ruins and historic churches scattered around the island. One of the highlights of Kalymnos is the warm and welcoming local community. The islanders are known for their hospitality and make every visitor feel at home. The annual festivals and events showcase the island’s unique culture and traditions, adding to the rich experience. In summary, Kalymnos offers a unique and enriching experience for travelers seeking adventure, natural beauty, and cultural immersion. Whether you’re a climber, a beach lover, or a history enthusiast, Kalymnos has something special to offer.
Kalymnos and Telendos are very attractive Islands. Short ferry trip between the two is 3 euros with stunning views. Masouri is the centre for sport rock climbers from around the world. The paths created to get to the crags give steep walks for others to enjoy the scenery or watch their climbing activities. Sunset over Telendos from Masouri is quite stunning.
