The Stables, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Takeley, 7.2 km from Stansted Mountfitchet Station, 17 km from Audley End House, as well as 27 km from Freeport Braintree. We only needed a place to stay because our flight was the next morning. This location was perfect. I didn’t catch his name but the guy who picked us up from the airport was so lovely. We shared the place with a family but they were very easygoing people and we were ready for bed once we got in so we didn’t see much of them.
