The DoubleTree by Hilton is a classic hotel, loved for years by visitors to Newcastle. Perfect location at the airport! The staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The room & bathroom were large, spotless, & had everything I needed, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The restaurant staff were friendly & attentive despite being busy, & the food was quite good.

The hotel is 300 metres from the terminal building at Newcastle Airport and a 15-minute Metro ride from Newcastle city centre. It has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a cocktail bar. I liked it very much, cleanliness was very good, the staff was very nice, there was no noise
