This was such a fantastic place to stay while we were in Shetland for Wool Week. David, our host, was extremely attentive and made sure we were right at home, showing us the place, asking what time was best for breakfast, and ensuring that the other guests (builders) were quiet while we were there. It is about 10 or 15 minutes outside Lerwick and the views were just absolutely stunning.

This place is the best value accommodation in Shetland. I have no idea why the previous reviews are so poor. We are locals who had to have a stay over for a medical appointment, and the cabin is exactly what it looks like in the photos. There is no bedding- a fact that is made clear on the booking.com website and in the email we received from the park directly. A previous poster criticised there being no kettle. There is a kettle, located in the kitchenette area. There is no accommodation for 5 people available on Shetland at this price, so what you see is what you get. If you are after something 4 *, go and stay in the Lerwick Hotel for £300+ a night.

Bayview Self-Catering, Lerwick is situated in Lerwick. The property has garden and city views. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Bain's Beach is 1.7 km away. Very light, full of character and well appointed. Would have comfortably accommodated many more than our group of four.

Easterhoull Chalets is set in Scalloway. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the chalet free of charge. Outdoor seating is also available at Easterhoull Chalets. Location was great, fantastic views and easy to find. Chalet was self catering and had everything we needed from kitchen utensils, to bed linen and towels. Outside was plenty of parking spaces, a landscaped garden up the side of the hill and the host had their studio and craft shop on site, where you can purchase a variety of items: paintings, resin jewellery, buttons, postcards, gifts, hanging mobiles etc The garden and workshop were certainly an added bonus to our stay at the chalet, will definately return

Set in Lerwick and only 2.6 km from Bain's Beach, Apartment 2, Craigmore, Upper Baila, Lerwick offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was our second time staying and we all loved being back! it’s a great space for us all. The house is a great size and very clean! Plenty utensils in the kitchen for us all to use. Thank you very much for the chocolate sweets, bread,milk and wine it very kind of you both!
