Made to feel very welcoming by Gurtru our host..a lovely lady and husband..would recommend 200%..nice garden area for us smokers and a very friendly cat..very calming and lovely room..comfy bed and excellent facilities.. would definitely use again.

Handy for Alicante airport and the city is a short bus ride away. Very close to beaches. El Altet has all the usual necessities…banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, and local people are friendly and helpful. We often stay here on our way to and from the airport.

Arenales del Sol is a residential area and is hilly in areas, we loved it but others may find that there is not enough restaurants and bars open, as some didn't seem to be open in the evenings on our visit. The beach, promenade and nature walks are great in this area. We ate at Il Siciliano twice as the food was so good, very authentic italian, Chakra and some of the local cafes. The cafe on the promenade was great we had coffees, and beers there most days, staff are very friendly and helpful (Beach area 3B). There were supermarkets which were stocked with basics, not many shops but these were located at the end of the village, buses were available, and taxis could be ordered by the Radio Elche taxi app. Excellent airport service and were on time.

Very good hotel. I just stayed over night but very happy from this accommodation. The room was just as expected with very good on-suite. The ground floor Restaurant is very cosy and comfy. The staff is very friendly including the Receptionist. I do recommend this hotel to the others travellers. 5 stars service! Well done. Thank you.

Hotel was ideally situated for the Airport '6-7 mins' was basic but was clean and tidy. Friendly and helpfull staff on reception. There is a large fridge to enable out of ours drinks etc in reception. Breakfast is provided if you so desire but is not cooked.

Lovely quiet area not filled with tourists and just locals out on their morning fitness regime or heading to the beach or having lunch/dinner which was great for us as a family as it’s our type of holiday to see more of the local culture and people. The beaches and area in general is very clean and well looked after and the beach is beautiful especially a nice swim in the warm water which I would highly recommend. Restaurants are were good with a number of them to choose from. The people are very friendly and welcoming which always adds to the experience of the holiday. If you like a quiet relaxed atmosphere with lovely people and a beautiful beach then I would highly recommend Arenales del Sol
